For some strange (and stupid) reason, I have become addicted to distance running.  With the optimistic assumption my body will stay functional, I intend on entering an ambitious list of races this year. The intent is just to finish even if I have to crawl across the finish line on all fours.

Here is my tentative running calendar for this year. If I die this year, you’d know what killed me…

Already finished: Surf City 5k on Super Bowl Sunday (2/7/2010) Finisher Certificate

February: 27th – OC Hope and Harmony 5k in Irvine, 28th – Brea 8k

April: 11th - Seal Beach 10k

May: 2nd – OC Half-marathon in Irvine, 16th - San Fransisco 7 Miler, 30th – Boston Half-marathon

June: 27th – Scotia Bank Half-marathon in Vancouver

July: 25th – San Fransisco Half-marathon

August: 15th  - San Diego Half-marathon

September: 5th - Disney Land (Anaheim) Half-marathon, 11th - Stockholm Half-marathon

October: 10th – Chicago Marathon

November: 14th – Big Sur Half-marathon (Monterey Bay, California) or Penang (Malaysia) Half-Marathon

December: Date TBD – Delhi Half-marathon
