Very well organized race. All runners - nearly 7000 of them – were transported to Cabrillo National Monument by 6.30 am for the 7 am start. Very scenic course, despite the fact that the course runs along many city streets. Great San Diego weather – perfect for running. I didnt realize I was chafing pretty badly until the photographer at the finish line pointed out the blood spot on my T-shirt. Didnt know chafing can be painless and graphic. I didnt make personal best time, but finished at 1:50.
