Enter all the amounts that you pay out in negative and the amounts that you receive in positive.
Annual Rate of Interest : Enter in number , like 8 or 8.75 or 9.325 and so on.
Payments made - Monthly Quarterly Half-yearly Yearly
Total Number of Payments : Enter the total number of payments. In the above example, you will enter 240, which is 20 years multiplied by 12.
Each Payment Amount : Enter the periodical amount that you pay / owed to you.
Future Value : This is the amount that you want to attain after the last payment is made. If this is omitted, it is assumed to be zero. For example, if you want to save $50000 to pay for a special project after 20 years, then $50000 is the FV.
